Local Honeycomb

Honeycombs are simply the beeswax casings from the hive filled with delicious honey, exactly as the bees created it. This local delicacy has a  smooth melt-in-your-mouth texture that can be eaten on its own or paired with other foods. Honeycomb with cheese is a natural pairing and it looks so pretty on a charcuterie tray. It's also tasty on toasted bread or hot biscuits allowing the wax to melt. But you just can't beat an arugula salad with chunks of honeycomb and goat cheese for a healthy summer meal!
