Fish Peppers **Spicy**

The fish pepper is a rare, heirloom chili pepper with striking green-and-white variegated leaves and striped fruits ranging in color from solid green to striped orange to solid red. Coming in anywhere from 5,000 to 30,000 Scoville Heat Units (similar to a jalapeño or serrano), it was historically used by African American chefs in the mid-Atlantic region to spice cream sauces for seafood without discoloring them.
