Scarlet Queen Turnips

Here's a rare find! These gorgeous red salad turnips have a pretty white interior with red streaking. They are a colorful alternative to Hakurei turnips. Unlike their bigger cousins, these small Asian turnips are wonderful as raw, crunchy additions to a salad or a crudités plate. They also make a delicious side dish simply sautéed in butter or roasted in a vegetable medley. No peeling required.
