Turnip Greens

Turnip greens are cherished in the South for their peppery zing and earthy flavor. You likely know them best as the classic cooked-down side dish seasoned with bacon. Of course, they are delicious that way, but turnip greens can be used as a substitute in most any savory recipe calling for kale, collards, or mustard greens. Turnip greens are a low calorie, high fiber superfood full of vitamins and minerals.
